School Holiday Fun

I was so inspired by Arts Week at school that I decided to spend holiday time on art with the kids...along with baking and other cool stuff.

Today we worked on sharpie art - we're still in the practicing stage, but we have canvases on stand-by for when we've each settled on our design.

Our first attempt was inspired by this youtube video:

This one was Ravey's choice and next we did Taigy's choice..inspired by henna:

And here are the results....

The kids are really enjoying doing these and I can't wait til we graduate from pencil to sharpie!!

This is a great activity for those wet holi-days :o)
